End of the work week....!

WOOO!

YEEEEEEE---HAW!

Giddyup! I'm so glad the work week is over. While I actually do enjoy my job, and the busy-ness it gives me....I'm just glad the work week ......
........is
over....

yeah.

Hm...I am in great preparation for a great upcoming Deaf Cafe program this Saturday. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's Easter weekend.

But hey...we have a wonderful program planned. Oh yeah.

We're gonna be like those bible characters...and we got 7 guys out of 12 to play disciples (hey, we were very fortunate to find that many guys to even be our guest actors!)....(it's really hard to find more male actors these days....)....(and yes, sometimes even someone like me have to change my gender for certain roles!)....

We're gonna be decorating like the bible times...Jerusalem style....

We're gonna wear costumes...

We're gonna EAT what they ate in Jesus' time. Yeah...it'll be interesting!

So....it'll be a fun-filled program and several people are already excited about it.

In other news...let's see...Andrew's not here yet but wait, I have not heard from Sister #4 all day so I hope she's OK. I will probably call her later.

Um....well, have a wonderful Good Friday and a wonderful Easter. I'll try to get some posting done over the weekend---we'll see.

Tuesday Tiredness...

Hey there.

I'm ready to saw some logs.

I'm tired.

All the hype of goin' back to work yesterday, then listening to tons of people saying it's nice to be back.

Just wait....just waaaaaaaaait.....

Give it few more days/weeks before they start griping how much they need a vacation.

I betcha that'll happen....
...... soon.

I need a vacation FROM my vacation.

Huh?

Whatever.

Just had a great Deaf Cafe meeting tonight on the wonderful VideoPhone....and got a lot of things planned out. We will have a good program this weekend. I look forward to it.

Anyhoo....well, it's nearly my son's bedtime so I best tuck him in and then I can crawl in bed and join my son in sawing more logs.

Good night, y'all.

Fasten Your Seatbelts, everbody!

What's with the traffic today??? I am driving home and all these cars seem to speed up if they saw me try to attempt...ATTEMPT to make a left turn! Barreling down towards me. If only my van was a sports car, I might go from 0-60 mph in 1 second! No, it takes longer than that.

But I made it home safely. Whew.

This day was really....long.

And sleepy.

And sick.

This morning I showed up to drop Josh off at Opa's house to find the house completely dark! So we went in carefully and I'm praying and holding my breath and telling Josh to go upstairs and wake up Opa. I hear Opa profusely apologizing and blaming his alarm clock.

He's aliiiiiiiiiiiive! So I say bye then take off. I almost turned left to go to McD's to get a drink...but the traffic was heavy. Ehhh...nah.

So I turn right (illegally...oops!) and head on straight towards the town I work in (26 some miles away....)....and had some time left to swing by one of the many McD's and get my drink.

Parked and went inside...the library looks so clean and nice. I was very curious how the event went Friday night.

So I asked one of my co-workers...she said there were no tours but everyone seem to stand around eating and drinking...and visiting with friends and people. And that the food was really, really good.

Darn...I should not have declined.

Eh, too late.

As I was shelving new books, I kind of got confused because of all the shifting of books I did last week, it wasn't in their old place...so I had to kind of work backwards to find the right sections to shelve my books. Burned a lot of calories there too, I think.

Spent the rest of the day doing some spreadsheet work and bringing in records.

I get a call from Opa around 3...Josh threw up at school. Going to pick him up. Take him to his house or drop him off at home? I said, better drop off at my home...that way he can crawl in bed and sleep.

I get home, and yup, Josh is snoozing away on mama's bed. Oh yes, my bed.

The crockpot dinner is nowhere nearly done...I guess I'll just let it cook another couple hours.

I feel like I'm sliding off my seat. Where's that seatbelt?
